The popular struggle coordination committee organized a series of actions stressing the fundamental right of Palestinians to worship in al-Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
A group of Palestinian activists climbed the apartheid wall in the vicinity of Qalandiyah checkpoint, and using makeshift bridges traversed to the other side as a symbolic gesture, marking their protest against the wall and their right to unrestricted mobility.
Later, activists blocked the road adjacent to Hizmeh checkpoint stressing their right to cross into occupied Jerusalem.
In the afternoon, several local youths clashed with the IDF near the Qalandiyah checkpoint. The IDF attempted to disperse them using tear gas and rubber coated steel bullets.
