On Boxing Day (the day after Christmas), villagers and solidarity activists marched in Nabi Saleh in protest of the occupation and land theft. Some of the local youths wearing Santa Clause costumes, symbolizing a holiday marking ‘peace on earth’ were forced to flee the IDF’s tear gas canisters and rubber-coated steel bullets. No major injuries reported.
