Palestinians, accompanied by Israeli and international solidarity activists, marked May Day in a march at the West Bank village of Nabi Saleh. Demonstrators also expressed their support for Palestinian political prisoners currently on hunger strike. The IDF attempted to suppress the demonstration with barrages of tear gas and rubber coated steel bullets. One demonstrator sustained an injury to his shoulder from a rubber bullet.
