On the 47th anniversary of the June War which resulted in the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, the Gaza strip and the Golan Heights, Palestinians, accompanied by Israeli and international solidarity activists, demonstrated in the village of Nabi Saleh in support of the hunger striking political prisoners. Several of these prisoners are currently hospitalized in Israel for various health complications, and physicians warn against further deterioration in their condition. The IDF attempted to disperse the march using rubber-coated steel bullets and barrages of tear gas. No major injuries reported.
