The weekly Friday demonstration in Nabi Saleh, led by the local popular committee was dedicated to Jerusalem (al-Quds) and the political prisoners. Marchers commemorated two martyrs who were killed this week, 16 years old Muhammad Sinokrot from Jerusalem, and Raed Ja’bari, a political prisoner who was beaten and tortured to death in an Israeli jail. The IDF attempted to suppress the march using barrages of tear gas and rubber coated steel bullets. No serious injuries reported.
