On Friday afternoon, youth from Nabi Saleh and surrounding villages confronted Israeli troops that congregated around the main entrance to the village. The convergence of Israeli troops around the village is aimed to provoke and intimidate Palestinian residents and those who drive on this thoroughfare from Ramallah. The youth attempted to repel the soldiers with stones, and the soldiers responded with tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets. No major injuries reported.
