Local activists in Jaffa took to the street to protest the unprecedented police violence during the demonstrations against the Prawer plan on the third Day of Rage. As news about police brutality and multiple arrests in Hura and Haifa spread, activists began mobilizing for a spontaneous show of force in the city of Jaffa. The protest started at the historic clock tower square, but as more people joined, including many who had just returned from Hura, activists blocked the street and brought traffic to a halt. The protest then became a march through the streets of Jaffa, from clock tower square, through Jerusalem boulevard and to Haj Kahil square and Yefet street, with many locals joining the marchers.
