Scores of Israeli activists protested the ongoing violence against Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The protest was held across from Hakirya military base in Tel Aviv, at the behest of Hebron-based Palestinian activists from the PFLP, DFLP and the People’s Party. Since October, over 112 Palestinians, many of them minors, were killed by Israeli forces, most of them were extra-judiciously executed after alleged attacks. Hundreds more have been arrested, and several homes have been demolished by Israel in punitive measures against alleged attackers. The demonstrators demanded an end to the occupation and the settlement project, especially in Hebron, where Palestinians have been displaced, and where a handful of settlers terrorize the local residents on a daily basis. Hebron has disproportionately suffered Israeli military incursions and violence in the past several weeks.
