A few dozens of Palestinian activists and Israeli allies staged a protest in Jaffa’s historic clock tower square, demanding the Israeli government ordered the immediate cessation of its bombing campaign in the Gaza Strip. Over the weekend, Israeli air raids intensified, killing at least 22 Palestinians, including two infants and two pregnant women. Israel also carried out targeted assassinations of Jamaal officials, and obliterated several residential and public buildings. Activists called for the end of the current bombing campaign as well as lifting the prolonged siege of the Gaza Strip that has rendered the densely populated region nearly unhabitable.
