Following a week of brutal attacks and bombings on the besieged population of the Gaza Strip, Anti-Zionist Israeli and international protestors again joined the Great March of Return from the east side of the fence. They met with Ahmed Abu Artema who addressed them from the other side of the fence that imprisons the Palestinians in a growing, man-made humanitarian crisis.

Ahmed Abu Artema wrote the Facebook post that went viral reviving the idea of mass, peaceful protest that lead to start of the Great March of Return on March 30, 2018. He spoke: “Our demand, from the Great March Of Return, is to impose sanctions against this occupation and to impose a military embargo on it- because of what it is commiting against the peaceful protesters- and on its government that violates the international law.”

The 60 protestors brought Palestinians flags and signs calling to “Free the Gaza Ghetto” and for the Right of Return.
