Days before the annual commemoration of Land Day, Jaffa-based activists left a graffiti on wall surrounding one of the city’s most notable buildings, known as the ‘green house.’ The graffiti reminds passers by that this used to be the home of Shaykh Ali before the Nakba (the catastrophe of 1948, when most Palestinians were forced to leave the city and were not allowed to return).
