Titled “the Wrath of the Martyrs,” the weekly Friday demonstration in the village of Nabi Saleh marked the escalation of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza strip, that claimed the lives of several men this past week. Protesters, Palestinians, Israeli and international activists, marched from Martyrs’ Square, at the centre of the village, toward its confiscated lands. The IDF attacked the unarmed marchers with barrages of tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets, forcing them to disperse. No major injuries reported.
