Residents of the Ramallah-district village of Nabi Saleh, marched on Friday in solidarity with Palestinian political prisoners, and in particular Muhammad ‘Alan. ‘Alan, a Nablus-area attorney, has been under administrative detention order since last fall. He began a hunger strike demanding his release two months ago, and is currently hospitalized at an Israeli hospital, as his health continues to deteriorate. Marchers confronted the Israeli army, that attempted to disperse them using tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets. No major injuries reported.
