The Ramallah district village of Nabi Saleh held its weekly demonstration in commemoration of the assassination of the resistance leader Abu Jihad (1988), the arrest of the political and resistance leader, Marwan Barghouti (2002) and the Palestinian prisoner’s day. Marchers demanded an end to occupation, land siezures and arbitrary arrests and internment of Palestinians in Israeli jails. The IDF attempted to disperse the march using barrages of tear gas canisters and rubber coated steel bullets. No major injuries reported.
