This Friday, there was no demonstration in Nabi Saleh. Nevertheless, when a few teenagers confronted IDF soldiers near the entrance to the village, a sniper targeted a 14-year-old boy, who sustained a gun shot injury from a live bullet (“tutu”) to his leg. The boy was then transferred to hospital by an ambulance.

Recently there has been a significant increase in the number of similar incidents, indicative of the IDF’s intention to suppress demonstrations through extensive use of live ammunition.
