Hundreds gathered near Habima theatre for a demonstration organized be the Coalition of Women for Peace to protest the ongoing massacre in Gaza, where over 150 people perished as a result of intensive Israeli aerial bombardments. Activists called for a ceasefire and the end of occupation. In close proximity to them stood about a hundred or so racist Zionists who came at the behest of the rapper ‘The Shadow,’ known for his racist and violent incitements. These counter-protesters hackled the anti-war demonstrators, through bottles and eggs at them, and finally initiated violence. The Zionists chased demonstrators along a boulevard, physically assaulting activists, one of whom required medical attention and was taken to a hospital.
