Following recent waves of arrests in the village of Nabi Saleh, residents, accompanied by solidarity activists, confronted the Israeli military in a show of defiance. Currently, 21 of the village’s young men and teens are in Ofer military prison, interrogated by the Israeli security services while awaiting trial. Most were arrested at home, in pre-dawn hours, while three were nabbed at the Allenby bridge upon their return from a trip abroad. The IDF fired tear gas and rubber coated steel bullets at protesters, who chanted in solidarity with the detainees. No major injuries reported.
