Marking the second anniversary to the killing of Rushdi Tamimi by the IDF, residents of Nabi Saleh, including Rushdi’s family members marched to protest his killing and the routine killing of Palestinians by the Israeli army. The IDF fired live ammunition, injuring three protesters – two from neighbouring Beit Rima and another woman who was sustained gunshot wound to her leg and was taken to hospital in Ramallah for treatment.
It is worth mentioning that recently, the IDF has been stepping up its repression of demonstrations in the West Bank, using snipers who target individual protesters with live ammunition (Tutu bullet).
