About 100 Israelis staged a demonstration in front of Hasharon prison in solidarity with Palestinian political prisoners. Hasharon prison is where Israel is currently detaining 16 years old Ahed Tamini and her mother Nariman, in addition to approximately 50 other Palestinian women. Among the protesters were former European Parliament member Luisa Morgantini and Palestinian member of the Israeli Knesset Aida Tuma Sliman. Protesters called for the release of the Tamimi women, as well as all political prisoners and for the liberation of Palestine.
