Over a hundred people, Palestinians and Israeli-Jews, gathered in Jaffa’s historic clock tower square in order to protest the Prawer plan, which is projected to displace some 40,000 Bedouins from ‘unrecognised villages’ in the country’s southern region of the Negev (Naqab in Arabic). Protesters held banners against this massive wave of ethnic cleansing, repeated demolitions and arrests of activists. A third day of rage against the Prawer plan is planned for 30.11, with several demonstrations across the country.
