The weekly Friday demonstration was dedicated to the thousands of Palestinians, including underage youth, languishing in Israeli jails. Marchers chanted in support of the political prisoners and their sacrifice for the liberation of the homeland, while the IDF attempted to disperse them using tear gas canisters in addition to the “skunk,” as the vehicle spraying putrid water is known.
