Jaffa-based activists, both Palestinian and Jewish staged a protest near the historic building of the Jaffa municipality, on Jerusalem boulevard, formerly Jamal Basha / King George / Nuzha. Protesters handed cups with salted water to passers by in solidarity with the hunger striking political prisoners and briefly blocked the street, bringing traffic to a halt.
